Climate change and new “green” policies increasingly seem to be having an impact on the way some architects work, with architectural practice becoming in some ways more ethical towards our natural environment. The seventh edition of CCP brings together these transitional architecture projects, those quality architectures that promote the reuse of existing spaces, the reuse of materials, sustainable construction systems and materials, energy-efficient new buildings and mixed-use programs that in some way help to group activities together without dispersing them and promote the well-being of users. These architectures are in transition towards a more ethical building culture and zero-impact practice. The architectural transition will be long and full of obstacles, but it is irreversible. The CCP07 proposes an exchange of experiences between Barcelona, Brussels-Wallonia, Luxembourg and the French region of The Grand Est. This catalogue presents a selection of architectures in transition from Luxembourg and The Grand Est region. All them examples of reusing the built heritage and social responsibility, expanding the network of professionals and institutions connected by the sharing culture of CCP.
